Museum: On the right side of Gurdwara Mehdiana Sahib, there is a beautiful museum worth visiting. Here the historical journey of Sri Anandpur Sahib from the incident of Guru Gobind Singh Ji by Sikh painters has been filmed and explained with the help of brush, colors and canvas. In this museum, other famous paintings by sikh artists like S. Kripal Singh, S. Devinder Singh, S. Satnam Singh Moga and S. Kuljit Singh Hur’s can also be seen. Devotees who visit the Gurdwara Mehdiana Sahib come to know a lot about sikh history and sikh culture at this place. “To preserve and take care of sikh culture, we are also committed to building multi-storey buildings.” Mr. Says Zora Singh.
SIKH HISTORY SCHOOL: This Gurdwara’s History School, which is even marked on a world map, is another unique place. This is a special “center of attraction” for the thousands of devotees who come here daily from all over the country and abroad. As you enter the Gyrdwara complex, the first thing you will notice the sikh monuments present here which states that the Sikh heritage is rich and Sikh history is incomparable. Eminent artists such as Tara Singh Raikoti and S. Parvinder Singh Raikoti and S. Botha Singh (Ludhiana) has created the sculptors of Sikh fighters from Baba Banda Singh Bahadur to the present day Sikh artisans. The ancient Sikh martyrs, the prayers of the Sikhs are shown alive through these “monuments”. When one sees the Mughal atrocities, one gets goose bumps. In this school of Sikh history, Sikh generals Bhai Sham Singh Atariwala, Bab Banda Singh Bahadur, Bhai Hari Singh Nalua, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Akali Phula Singh Ji, ie Mehtab Singh, Bhai Sukha Singh etc. are also beautifully portrayed. According to Jathedar Jora Singh, this work will continue as long as the Sikh Sangat continues to support it. He said that soon the construction of special monuments related to the great generals Baba Sahib Singh Bedi, Baba Bidhi Chand Chhina and Nawab Jassa Singh Ahluwalia Hur would begin.
| Jathedar Zora Singh explains how the idea of building a Sikh History School began. It came to his mind, with the blessings of Guru Maharaj, and he embarked on this great project with the aim of seeing these historical scenes in the minds of parents who are turning a blind eye to Sikh history and old students of colleges and universities who are falling prey to adultery. All these people should return to the mainstream of Sikhism after being diverged from their religion. Jathedar Zora Singh said that the aim of his life was to highlight Sikh history through paintings and Sikh History School projects. He also firmly believes in the welfare of humanity, the welfare of all, and communal harmony. Nowadays artist S. Tara Singh Raikoti and his son are busy making a monument based on the scene of the appearance of the young sahibzades in the state court.
